Loop and Cluster, Inc.
Founded in 2026, Loop & Cluster, Inc. grew out of the community built at Brooklyn Art Cluster over the past decade.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we extend that community’s resources - space, mentorship, and programing - to artists and creatives beyond our own studio walls. Our program launch in September 2026.

What We Do
International and US - Based Artist In Residency Program
Studio Program
International artist in residency
We welcome artists from around the world to Brooklyn, New York offering space, community, and time to create, explore, and grow. Through cultural exchange and meaningful connections with local artists, we foster a more open, diverse, and connected creative community.
US - Based artist in residency
We support artists from across the United States by providing space, time, and community to develop their creative practice in Brooklyn. Through exchange with local artists and the broader creative community, the program encourages collaboration, new perspectives, and meaningful artistic growth.
Curatorial Residency Program
Curator Residency
We support emerging and independent curators by providing opportunities to develop and present exhibitions in Brooklyn—from exhibition planning and production to openings and public engagement. The program also fosters connections and exchange among independent curators, artists, and the broader creative community.
Exhibition Program
Exhibition
We organize exhibitions that give artists a serious venue and give the public a reason to walk in. Programming includes resident showcases, curator-led projects, open calls, and participation in neighborhood-wide events such as Gowanus Open Studios.
Educational Program
Art Classes
Classes and workshops led by artists from our community, open to Brooklyn and greater New York. No experience required. Participants learn directly from artists with active studio practices, in the very building where that work happens.
Art Portfolio Building & Artist Mentorship
Designed for middle and high school students, our program helps young artists develop a strong and meaningful art portfolio through hands-on projects, creative guidance, and mentorship from local Brooklyn artists. Students explore their artistic voice, build confidence, and gain valuable insight into the creative process and portfolio preparation.
Events
Community Events
We create accessible events and workshops that bring people together through art, culture, and creative exchange. By connecting artists, neighbors, and the broader community, we provide opportunities to experience, learn, and engage with diverse forms of creative expression.
